Have you ever wondered what Jesus would say to our churches? What would He encourage? What would He admonish? What would His desire be for our churches? What does He care about?
It’s a good thing that we aren’t left to wonder. In the beginning of the book of Revelation, Jesus personally delivers a message to seven real (but very different) churches that existed during the time of John. At the end of every letter, Jesus declares: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” As His churches, our role is to listen to what Christ is saying and to be obedient to His voice.
