Visiting a new place for the first time can be pretty intimidating. What will it be like? What time does it start? What should I wear? What’s available for my kids? Here are some distinctives that you should expect from our worship service:
Casual Dress: Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable worshiping in. Some folks will come to our church in their “Sunday best” … Others come in blue jeans and t-shirts. Many of us do NOT wear a suit and tie and we don’t expect you to put one on either, unless of course you want to!
Blended Worship Music: The music that we use for worship supports the theme and Bible text for our Sunday service. On any given Sunday, you will hear a mixture of contemporary worship songs, traditional hymns and Southern Gospel music.
Expositional Preaching: We believe preaching is designed to explain Biblical passages and apply them to the life of the believer. Sermons are typically expository in nature, preaching through books of the Bible using illustrations and real life situations to bring Scripture to life.
Nursery: During the worship service, our church has a nursery for children under 3 years old. All of our nursery workers have undergone a background check / screening and operates according to our Children’s Program Policy.
